
Sherif Fathy Salem is a film producer/director and lecturer in film-making. He's a certified EU Audiovisual expert and member of the European Documentary Network & the Italian independent producers association. He trains and teaches in the American university of Rome & Ona professional media academy of Cairo. The latest short film he produced; “Il Passo” was premiered in Venice film festival 2017. His filmography includes titles such as Cinema Memory | 50' | 2016, People of the Walls | 90' | 2015, That Alexandria | 78' | 2013, The Italians of Egypt | 80' | 2011 and Clandestini | 50' | 2009. In 2005 he founded SPOT1.tv as an independent film production house in Italy where he moved in 1997 to join ART satellite network as a producer, director and host. He lives between Rome and Cairo where he was born and pursued his university studies first in Architecture 1990, then in Film Directing 1994.

Ramona Di Marco is an executive producer, writer and researcher. Most of Spot1 films are her ideas. She launches the idea, conceives the project, produces the film and follows its long distribution path. She has a degree in Law and gained professional experience in the international commerce sector before joining SPOT1.tv in 2007.
